Our lives are marked by artificial rhythms: the alarm clock, the fortnight, the plugs, shifts at the bank or notifications. Everything that is not considered "useful" is discarded: pauses that serve as impetus and traditions that do not contribute to the logic of modernity. This speed and productivity lead to an ecological and social imbalance: migrations, violated rights, poisoned nature.

Destiempo draws on this thought to imagine a better life, humbly assuming that we cannot master everything. It opens reflections in the universal language of art.

The works presented are based on stories from everyday Latin American life that tell other ways of relating to nature, remember species that will soon not exist and invite us to take the path of pause for a moment.
